    I have been having some mixed results burning video DVDs so I tried to burn at only 1x or 2x instead of the 4x my software wants to always burn at but I can not seem to change the burn speed in any of the software I have tried. I have tried Gear Pro, Sonic and Tmpgenc and none of them let me change the speed. It either is fixed on AUTO or grayed out and 4x. Does anyone know anything about this?

    I use Nero with my 106D and I can change it to whatever I want.
